Texas tea Party
with rashaad

The Texas Tea Party is a monthly open mic comedy and karaoke night hosted by RaShaad Leggett. I was challenged to create flyers for the event with a different them for every month. My goal was to make each poster look as fun as the event (and to have even more fun in the process!)

Cult Comedy Night

In this ongoing project, I've created several promotional flyers to fit both physical and social media formats.

Process

The Archer Foundation

The Archer Foundation provides financial assistance to families impacted by DIPG and DMG, allowing them to focus on quality time together. During my time creating graphics for The Archer Foundation, I focused on developing visual content that balanced emotional resonance with informational clarity.

In crafting visuals for the foundation, we experimented with a variety of aesthetics that leaned into light, airy colors and textures paired with illustrative, painterly assets to evoke a sense of hope, innocence, and humanity while still communicating the seriousness of the cause. This stylistic approach helped bridge the emotional weight of the Foundation’s mission with creative expression that feels childlike yet grounded in reality.

We incorporated a mixture of collage and illustrative styles, blending photographic or textured elements with hand-drawn and painted touches to convey narrative depth and personal connection. This visual language allowed us to highlight the courage and resilience of children affected by DIPG and invite audiences into the Foundation’s story in a way that felt both sincere and visually engaging.
